Samantha Peters (Melsom) is an Associate Lawyer with the firm.

Sam was born and raised in Owen Sound. She attended The University of Toronto, Trinity College, graduating with a Double Major in Bioethics and Ethics Society and Law. After receiving her Masters of Arts from Ryerson University (now Toronto Metropolitan University) in Criminology and Social Justice, she attended Western University Faculty of Law, graduating in 2023. Sam summered and completed her articling with Middlebro’ & Stevens LLP, and returned to the Firm after her call to the bar in 2024.

Sam practices in the areas of General Litigation, Wills and Estates, and Real Estate. Sam is also a Provincial Offences Prosecutor in several municipalities in Grey-Bruce, various ministries and other government agencies.

Sam is happy to have returned to Grey Bruce to build her practice. Outside of work Sam loves to take advantage of the close proximity to Georgian Bay and the Bruce Trail. She enjoys downhill skiing and snowboarding, highland dancing, trying out new recipes, and trying to golf with her husband.
